Nigeria assistant coach Roland Andersson says left back Taye Taiwo sustained no serious injury despite being taken off with 15 minutes of play left.
Taiwo stayed down after his venomous effort just skimmed past Romero's goal and was replaced by Kalu Uche, with Taye Taiwo going to cover at left back, but Andersson told KickOffNigeria.com that the defender was fine.
"He is okay. Nothing serious and he will be ready for the next game," Andersson said.
