FORMER Bafana Bafana star, Mark Fish has warned the Super Eagles to work more on its defence at the World Cup.
Speaking on brilafm, Fish said the Eagles' defence is not well organised thus could easily succumb to pressure.
"I think Nigeria team is full of experienced and quality players including young stars, and with this, they can beat any team in the tournament, but their defence is very weak. They (defenders) can be temperamental and give away goals easily.
"During the World Cup qualifying series, the Su-per Eagles gave away many goals in their matches even though they scored many goals as well.
At the World Cup, they can not do that because they will be playing against best in the world.
Therefore, the back four need to be stronger in order not to concede too many goals," said Fish who won the 1996 Nations Cup with South Africa.
