Eagles job: Siasia to seal deal Tuesday

LAWYERS representing Samson Siasia have told MTNFootball.com exclusively that they are confident a deal for the former Nigeria international to take over the Super Eagles would be reached on Tuesday.

Siasia's lead lawyer, Ijere Austin told MTNFootball.com that he is hopeful a deal would be struck on Tuesday when they meet again with top officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).

"Samson is desperate to satisfy the yearnings of Nigerians who love him so much and have been clamouring for him to get the job. So, he is ready to finalise discussions with the leadership of the NFF on Tuesday," Austin disclosed.

"We have discussed and he has agreed to lower his demands for a monthly salary of five million naira (about $35,000) and a signing-on fee of fifty million naira. This we hope to convince the NFF when we meet again on Tuesday. Although I won't be able to give you details now until we finish our discussions.
